🎭 Step 1: Know What to Expect

We can’t wait to see your student shine! Here’s what you can expect as you settle in:

  • Each class is taught by experienced instructors who prioritize both fun and technique.

👟 Step 2: What to Wear

Dress codes vary slightly by class type, but the goal is always comfort, confidence, and readiness to move!

Quick Overview:

  • Stars Classes (Ages 2 & 3): Form-fitting dancewear in any color, pink ballet shoes (no strings)

  • Tap & Ballet (Ages 4–5): Form-fitting dancewear, pink ballet + tan tap shoes

  • Jazz/Lyrical: Form-fitting dancewear, tan jazz shoes

  • Hip Hop: Comfortable clothing, silver hip hop shoes (sold at the front desk)

  • Cheer: Form-fitting athletic wear, solid white tennis shoes

  • Tumbling: Form-fitting athletic wear, barefoot

Hair should always be secured out of the face, and no distracting jewelry please.

Highlights include:

  • Winter Showcase – December 7 at the Amarillo Globe-News Center

  • Come On In Week is a monthly event where we invite observers in for the last 5-10 minutes of class

  • The Nutcracker: Amarillo Dreamin’ - December 6 & 7
    (We’ll keep you updated through email, the app, and posted flyers!)

Step 4: Communication

We use the Jackrabbit Parent Portal and Email for all updates, absences, and announcements.

You’ll receive:

  • Class reminders & closures

  • Event info & sign-ups

  • Studio news & special opportunities
